Resolution Health Engages Johns Hopkins Medicine for New Insights to Improve Quality and Cost Effectiveness of Health Care Delivered to Individuals

Columbia , Md. – September 4, 2008 – Resolution Health, Inc. has signed a consulting services agreement with Johns Hopkins Medicine that will enable Resolution Health to further enhance the quality and cost effectiveness of health care delivered to millions of health plan members.

Through the agreement, Johns Hopkins experts in more than 20 clinical departments will review, refine and expand upon the set of “clinical rules” Resolution Health uses to identify patients whose care may not be consistent with evidence-based guidelines and best medical practices. The Hopkins experts will also help Resolution Health identify situations in which the cost of care could be reduced through elimination of services that may be less effective or no more beneficial than less expensive alternatives.

Resolution Health is a personal health care guidance company that employs sophisticated data analytics to identify opportunities to improve the quality, safety and cost effectiveness of health care delivered to particular individuals .
